Information Session – For managers/decision makers of schools/organisations who are interested in running the programme.

One Day Refresher – For existing trained companions who feel they would like to “refresh” in relation to the content and delivery of the programme.
Date: Friday 27th February 2015 from 9.30am – 4.30pm (Deadline for attendance – Friday 20th February)
Venue: CAMHS Clinic/Seminar Room, Royal Alex Hospital, Marine Drive, Rhyl
Training – For new companions (2.5 days training)
Date: 30th April 2015 (full day) 1st May 2015 (full day) and 26th June 2015 (half day, am)
Annual Reconnector – Must be attended by all trained companions.
Date: 25th September 2015 (full day)
Mentor Meeting – For existing companions who have also taken on the role of supporting others.
Date: 3rd July 2015 from 9.30am – 11.30am

This weekend Hillingdon trainer Elaine Tabony took part in the BUPA London 10,000 race to raise money for Seasons for Growth.
Despite being unsure if she could participate, Elaine finished this run in a respectable one hour and thirteen minutes and says:
“For a variety of reasons I have not been certain I could compete this weekend but I am going to have a go. Please could you sponsor me in the BUPA London 1000 this weekend. The page will be open for 3 months so please help if you can.

The new Companion Implementation Guidebook has been launched and is published on the “Trained Companions” part of our website. Please ask your trainer for the password if you do not have it. Welsh language editions of these documents will be uploaded as they become available.
There are a number of replacement forms and a checklist to help you complete everything you need to run a Seasons For Growth programme. Please make sure you are using the latest forms. It is always a good idea to dowload a new one from the website every time in case of amendments.
